Questions About These Deals
Where do the Amazon prices on this page come from?
Amazon's own product API, which is the only place a site is allowed to take an Amazon price from. The page reads it every six hours and shows the time of the last reading. If that reading is more than a day old, the prices are hidden until the next one. Prices change constantly, so the price on Amazon when you check out is the one that applies.
What is the difference between a List Price and a Typical price?
Amazon measures a markdown against one of two reference prices. A List Price is the suggested retail price, which can sit above what the item usually sells for. A Typical price is the median price paid for that listing over the previous 90 days, so a markdown against it is the stronger signal. Every card names which one it is.
Why only markdowns of 30% or more?
Smaller markdowns come and go on Amazon every day, and most of them are a dollar or two. At 30% or more the price is worth a look. The brand codes below apply at any time.
How do the brand codes work?
A code goes in the discount box at checkout on the store the card names. A referral offer needs no code: the discount applies when you order through the link. Each code was given to me by the brand for readers and viewers of Planning Engineered.
How do the affiliate links support Planning Engineered?
The store pays the channel a small commission on what you buy through the link, and your price is the same as going to the store yourself. Only brands whose gear is on my shelf are listed.
How do products get on this page?
Every product here is on my Stationery Shelf, the list of pens, notebooks, covers and cases I have used or reviewed. A brand cannot pay to be listed.
Some links on this page are affiliate or referral links, at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Items marked as sent for review came free from the brand, and no brand paid to be on this page.
