Great cover, high quality. These zippers are basically bombproof, so I would expect that to last a lifetime.
It's pretty large, but it's pocketable if you have big cargo pockets or jean pockets. I don't believe it will fit in a woman's pocket, so skip it if you want something for a smaller pocket.

Does it fit in a pocket?
I wouldn't put this in my pocket, but it's definitely pocketable if you have big cargo pockets or jean pockets. I don't believe it will fit in a woman's pocket. It's pretty large.
I don't carry it in my pocket. I usually have a bag with me or just hold it in my hand and carry it that way.
I carried this one for quite some time early on, when I was using pocket notebooks a lot more. These days, I use it for my reading journal, and this stays near my books at all times.
Capacity and the included notebook
This one has capacity for a couple of notebooks. I've been able to fit three if I really push it hard. Three still fits pretty snug, nothing will break.
The nice thing about Lochby is they do send you one of their pocket journals with the cover, so that is great to see. And you do get a Tomoe River paper notebook that you can carry with you.
The waxed canvas is on the outside, the ripstop nylon on the inside. I believe this is a YKK zipper, and those are some of the top zipper makers in the industry. These zippers are basically bombproof, so I would expect that to last a lifetime.
