Stationery Haul: Traveler's Company, Iroshizuku Ink and Midori MD

For my birthday this year, I got a gift card for this really cool stationery shop in Boulder, Colorado called Two Hands Paperie, and we just went there over the weekend of Father's Day. So I wanted to do a little bit of a stationery haul on some of the things that I picked up from the shop.

They are a Traveler's Company partner shop and they have a lot of unique stationery, so it's always fun to go out there and check it out. The in-person store is fantastic and I love going there.

Tomoe River loose sheets, for my own inserts

I'm actually going to start with this Tomoe River loose sheet A4. I've never really bought any loose sheet Tomoe River paper, but I started to create some of my own inserts.

I've been creating and playing around with some inserts. This is a fold out weekly vertical. So I've been loving the Sterling Ink Planner, which has that vertical weekly layout. So I decided to create mine.

You have the full week there. Then I added a breakfast, lunch and dinner for some meal planning at the bottom, as well as some habits or tracking for habits per day. And you can have a key at the bottom.

Iroshizuku Kon-peki

Another pickup that I had, this Iroshizuku Kon-peki. I've really wanted to get it for myself. The blue I've heard is beautiful. It is 50 ml, so a very good size. So I'm sure that will last for quite a while. Really excited to ink my pen with that.

Sakura Gelly Roll in white

And the last thing was this Gelly Roll from Sakura, this 0.5 with the white ink. I just wanted to get a white ink gel pen to write on darker paper and just have it in my stack.

Midori Join Dots

There's a lot of different dot markers out there, but these ones are actually pretty small, and you can connect them and colors are really great. They're all muted, and remind me of the Zebra Sarasa Vintage colors. Really muted, not super bright, which is exactly what I like in my colors. I do wish they come with more lids, so I can just take one or two at a time and not have to take a full stack.

Traveler's Company Brass Ruler

This was a splurge, this Brass Ruler by Traveler's Company. I've never really pulled the trigger. But I had a gift card that I needed to use, so I figured this was a good time to do that. I'm super excited to get this to patina. It's actually a lot smaller in person than what I've seen online. Maybe find a way to incorporate it into my MeePlus journal.

Midori MD notebook in grid

I've heard a lot of great things about the Midori notebooks. I've used Midori MD paper, and I've used Traveler's Company notebooks, and again, it's just some of my favorite paper. These are just really minimal notebooks.

I got it in grid. It's not a full grid. It kinda stops short and then you have some of these dots similar to the bullet journal notebook where you can split the pages really easily. Comes with one ribbon to mark your page, really minimal. I may end up getting some loose leaf paper of this Midori as well, but so far, just a fantastic and minimal notebook.

A few finds from Europe

Plus a few extra things that my wife actually picked up for me from Europe. She picked up this fountain pen ink for me, which I haven't used yet. It looks like a really nice saturated green. There were also cards, stickers and washi tape samples from London, Edinburgh and Paris. It was a fun challenge for her to just find stuff that she thought was unique.
